I am a filmmaker, editor, and writer from Park City, UT. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2015 with an Honors BA in Film and Media Arts, as well as a Minor in Business. I am currently establishing myself in the film community while I continue to work on my own projects.
In my art, I am fascinated with confronting the disturbing and frightening aspects of reality. The work I do tends to be minimalist in design, focusing on the modern relationships between people who are forced into contact because of the world and systems that dictate their lives.
Some of my favorite films include Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai, Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now, and Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. But let's be honest, when John Carpenter made The Thing, we should've stopped making movies because nothing else was ever going to top that. Some of my personal interests include: the elements of design, late nights at the cinema, yoga and exercise, as well as a bottle of $12 wine.
